the Slam Sisters web site. The Slam Sisters Basketball Club is a
non-profit organization whose
primary purpose is to provide young women
the opportunity to play competitive basketball. As a
member of the
South Texas association we compete in AAU tournaments throughout the
central
and south Texas area. We hope you enjoy our site and will
visit again soon.

In the fall of 1997, eight girls formed two teams, the Slam Sisters and
the U-Go-Girls, to play in
the annual 3 on 3 HOOP-IT-UP tournament in
Austin. Through participation in Lady Dribblers,
MAYB, and AAU
basketball programs the Slam Sisters and U-Go-Girls evolved into the Slam
Sisters Basketball Club.

Provide amateur sports competition in accordance with the standards and
rules prescribed by the
Amateur Athletic Union. To become better as
a club and build teams that will dominate the central
and south Texas
region, our coaches will strive for the development of the individual
while teaching
sportsmanship and team effort. It is our goal
to play highly-competitive championship basketball
every single game.
